About the event

Taiwan is home to diverse Indigenous Peoples whose histories and cultures long predate the modern state. Since the emergence of Taiwan's contemporary Indigenous movement in the 1980s, activism has encompassed struggles for recognition, land rights and self-determination, alongside efforts to revitalise Indigenous languages, cultural practices and identities.

This webinar brings together four Indigenous youth activists from Taiwan to share their experiences of cultural revitalisation, community organising and political advocacy, exploring how younger generations are shaping the future of Indigenous communities.
